A LIFELONG DREAM

G&A was born from a passion for artistic jewelry design, the desire to create meaningful and valuable pieces which express truth, beauty and goodness through the universal language of symbols, the language of the soul.

Sabine Heidenreich, founder, and chief designer of Goldhaus & Alexander discovered her fascination with jewelry design early on. Growing up in Europe, she became intrigued by the long-standing tradition of jewelry craftsmanship, the history of our human ability and longing to communicate and express inner values and believes through jewelry. Driven by a deep admiration for the great design ateliers, she began her odyssey of studying the discipline and art form of goldsmithing, design, and gemology which soon led her to the United States. A graduate of the acclaimed Gemological Institute of America, Sabine has since worked with high-end jewelers in the United States and Europe and has been a sought-after jewelry designer with over two decades of experience.

PASSION INSPIRES

Today the dream of creating her collections of inspiring jewelry has become a reality. Sabine’s work draws from her European Christian heritage and the artistry of high jewelry – her love and respect for faith jewelry and elevated design being visible in each piece. The passion for exploration has a strong presence in Goldhaus & Alexander’s collections. Each piece tells a story and is a tribute to the human desire of noble achievements.

Each piece is designed and drawn by hand, and brought to life by exceptionally skillful jewelers. We pay the highest attention to quality, detail, and all-encompassing beautiful finishes.

Our greatest inspiration has been and always will be our customers. We want to heighten your experience every time you reach for your favorite piece. May it be inspiring and bring you joy and strength.

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Ethics and sustainability:

The question of ethics and sustainability in the jewelry industry is not as simple as it is sometimes portrayed. Fine jewelry is made from materials of the Earth – precious metals and gemstones, touched by the hands of human beings. That is a wonderful thing and very much part of our human nature.

Today there are many publications arguing all sides of the jewelry trade - and some of the news are heart-breaking. We feel that these are important discussions, and we want to express our gratitude to the organizations, businesses and individuals who are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and business practices.

We are exclusively working with suppliers and manufacturers who are honored members of US jewelry trade organizations, and who stand united with us in protecting these values.

Gold colors and alloys used in our jewelry:

All our jewelry is made with 18K gold. The term karat (K) in gold is a measurement which specifies the amount of pure gold in a piece of jewelry. 18K gold contains 75% pure gold and 25% alloys.

Jewelry care:

These simple steps will help you keep your jewelry beautiful and safe:

Most jewelry and gemstones can be cleaned with warm water, mild dish soap (no detergent) and a soft brush.

Please keep your jewelry away from chemicals (chlorinated swimming pools, chlorine bleach, everyday substances like hairspray, lotion, perfume etc.) Cleaning jewelry in an ultrasonic cleaner should be left to jewelry professionals who know about different gem materials and understand how to use them correctly.

Safely store your jewelry in the beautiful pouch or box that it came in. Jewelry boxes with individually padded compartments are a good option as well. We recommend that you keep your silver jewelry in an anti-tarnish bag or cloth.
